I took these photographs at the summit attempting a panorama view, starting facing north towards Wales over the Bristol Channel turning to my right eastwards, full circle. At one point I was facing south towards Dartmoor nearly forty miles away and the Blackdown Hills.

The dogs loved it; my friend’s labrador, Flossie, is the one in the middle. My friend took these photographs and I expect in time some more will appear on her own blog.

So did I!

We are overlooking where we live in the bottom right quarter (ish).
On the way down we saw these and there is one young stag amongst them, still a juvenile I expect but with some impressive antlers on the way.

It was a ‘walk on the blue side ‘ yesterday and today…a walk on the wild side (with the deer). Looks like you had a good workout, LiZZie, plus a ‘worth it all’ view!
I forgot to mention your great “here’s looking at you” photo !
Wow! So beautiful.LiZZie.
At last Lizzie, I got round to catching up! phewph, im so slow lol. Beautiful photographs, I adore climbing up to get magnificent views like that, breathtaking aren’t they. So lovely to read of your talented daughters, its wonderful to watch isn’t it, ones children findinf their dpace in the world. Each of my three are creative, yet in such different ways.
Glad you made it Ruthie! Bright blessings to you and yours.
